At the moment of taking the picture there was a small shower of cold November rain.

Personally, I find the dim November silence somehow soothing; there is a sense of tranquility as the lively blooming of the summer is gone and Nature quietly prepares to meditate for the winter. But, yes, I do understand those people who feel like this.
