The earlier wood-splitting photo was taken by an Android app called Open Camera, which can be configured to take a series of pictures with given interval. I chose minimum interval and shot several series to catch one with almost perfect timing.

For today's picture I tried the easier method; shot a video clip and grabbed a frame from the video.
