At the neighboring farm they had a plan to install a new IP camera to keep an eye of a pregnant mare. The idea is that in the middle of the night you can just check the camera app on your phone to see if the delivery has started, if everything is all right or if they need human assistance. But, since this time of the year is rather hectic for them farmers, they didn't quite find time to install the system so they asked for me to help. Today my work started at 2pm, so I had some spare time before that. Sure, the procedure of installing the camera hardware and software was not too complicated, but it took me some time and driving back and forth to collect all the needed pieces like a spare monitor and the right kind of cable. Eventually we got everything set up and working. The picture is on my second visit at home, when I decided to pack the laptop and other extra utilities with me, just in case I need to log into a router or do some other such technical configuration.
