Hehe, my first idea was to post a photo of the beginning of the first of January - the moment of my morning ritual of drinking coffee on the sofa. But that happened at 8am, which was about one hour before sunrise, it was way too dark indoors to take a picture. So then it came to my mind that actually it would be nice to re-use the same setting as in the first and last picture of the previous series. If this becomes a habit, over the coming years we will see how I will be slowly ageing, drinking coffee at the stairs of the sauna I once built.
I occasionally wondered what you were up to these days. Glad you are well! I've had another kid since I last wrote here. I have more grey hairs at 39 years old haha.
Yes, it will be good for you to look back once you've taken a lot of photos on those steps. Take care my friend.
Ah, congratulations for the new family member! Now when my own son is adult, I occasionally get hit by a wave of nostalgia when I visit friends who have little kids. The sound and the atmosphere of kids playing and running around - oh that was an another world, and I loved it =)
Yes it is something special for sure. At times drives me nuts with all the noise... at others it brings tears to my eyes.
A lot of years from now you can start a "Video of the Day", and the 1st one will be you aging frame by frame with photos of you in this 1st day of the year setup :D
