Outdoor temperature is about -2 °C, which feels rather pleasant after those days of -22 °C. The colder temperatures left the sauna window all covered in frost. I started a fire in the sauna stove, and when carrying water to the sauna I noticed how the light glimmers on the frost of the window. In the middle of ordinary household chores, momentarily stopping to enjoy the beauty created by nature - this is one of all the small things I love about countryside living.
