Yes, if I was a full time indie coder, I could publish a new version of Ancient Savo every second week or so. But, the reality still is that I need to work for money to pay my bills (using Ancient Savo sales to pay back to my friends who lent me money to help me through dire situations). This week one of the neighbours, another self-employed person, asked if I could help with a roofing project - that, again, is one of the odd jobs bringing in money to keep me afloat. I accepted the job offer, although it means two or three days away from indie coding. But in a way my situation still is that I have to choose between "no money to pay bills - > problems piling up - > totally no progress with Ancient Savo" or "do the odd jobs -> earn money and pay bills -> slow progress with Ancient Savo", and I choose the slow progress because it is better than choosing no progress combined with a personal economic catastrophe =)
